Join us Wednesday, December 12 from 1-2PM EST, to learn how you can help elevate the conversation about games and learning. Part demo and part call to arms, this episode of Playtime will introduce you to Playforce, a new experience from Institute of Play that aims to transform the way we think about learning in games. Playforce is currently in private beta, but Playtime participants will get an exclusive first look at the website – an online community built for and by players, parents and educators to discover and share learning experiences in games. During the demo, Playtime panelists will lead a walkthrough of 3 main components of the Playforce experience: Explore a searchable database of games related to specific content, academic standards or skills, where educators and parents can find games that support learning goalsMeet the user community, the players who generate and share perspectives on their favorite games based on their experiencesDiscover how Playforce empowers players to articulate what they learn in game play, through a unique training experience that develops language and critical toolsPanelists will then answer your questions about the role YOU can play in Playforce.
